The organization manages the relationships with the millions of merchants around the world that accept American Express and runs the company’s payment network and manages bank partnerships globally. The U.S. Merchant Marketing (USMM) organization falls within GMNS and is responsible for partnering to drive growth, accelerate Merchant acceptance and enhance the value of American Express acceptance to Merchants of all shapes and sizes at scale. The Third-Party Partner Marketing team within USMM, works closely with the U.S. Partner Acquisition & Capabilities organization responsible for third-party acquiring; OptBlue, Strategic Payment Facilitators and TPSP programs. **Position Description** The Analyst, Third-Party Partner (TPP) Marketing position is at the center of one of the highest priorities for Global Merchant & Network Services and American Express: increasing actively accepting merchants. This person will partner closely with the Marketing Managers who support strategic third-party acquiring partners and internal partners to identify and implement marketing strategies that drive activation, engagement, and acceptance with merchants. The successful candidate will also enhance partner marketing relationships with Sales Agent Strategy, Shop Small® Corporate Supporter, and other value driver initiatives. This is a role for a customer-centric marketer who is looking to showcase thought leadership, lead execution across marketing channels (email, direct mail, partner, social, etc.) and is motivated by working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. **How will you make an Impact In this role?** Marketing Execution | Support campaign execution in partnership with Marketing Managers on Third-Party partner marketing campaigns. Collaborate to design & implement initiatives that drive activation, engagement, and acceptance with merchants across channels such Direct Mail & Email. Own the flawless execution of timely, compliant, and innovative campaigns with Brand & Legal reviews, Partners, leverage agency/vendor relationships & processes, and collaborate with analytical and Partner Management teams on campaign result tracking and fulfillment. Cross Team Collaboration | Partner closely with internal teams to enable greater speed and agility and improve marketing and broader working team experience on a variety of initiatives; Shop Small, creative collateral requests (email templates, conference collateral, 1-pagers, etc.), pipeline/scorecard reporting, team budget and Global Supply Management process. Sales Agent Strategy| Work in lockstep with Marketing Manager to be the 'voice' of our Sales Agent strategy by crafting Third-Party Partner Sales Agent curriculum, establishing and distributing a communication strategy that reinforces policy changes, and grows targetable Sales Agent base. Manage content and updates to Sales Agent website, track & measure website analytics to package & share findings (internally/externally) to drive future engagements and success. **Minimum Qualifications** The successful candidate will be a high energy, initiative-taking, team player, and able to work well with competing priorities: + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly and effectively to audiences of all levels + Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint + Independent problem solver with great attention to detail and the ability to work cross functionally + Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities, meet tight timelines, and operate effectively under changing and challenging conditions + Ability to cultivate relationships across various stakeholders and influence without authority on high visibility projects + Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best-in-class solutions at scale + Positive, can-do attitude able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and stay flexible to business changes + Ability to proactively and independently identify opportunities for improvement and drive results + Solutions-oriented, strategic problem solver with attention to detail + Great sense of humor and energy for collaboration a plus **Qualifications** Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
