About the Role

Join us as Analyst, Total Fund Management at AIA Investment Management!

The main objectives of this position are to support the management of multi-asset portfolios and various investment initiatives.

The Analyst helps support management of multi-asset portfolios that invest across public assets/geographic regions/sectors/factors/currencies. The Analyst is expected to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and translate these into implementable investment strategies.

The Analyst will collaborate with other professionals in AIAIM as well as AIA Group to achieve the position’s objectives. The role requires good communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support Portfolio Manager(s) in management of multi-asset portfolios in accordance with investment mandate, including implementation of TAA overlaysEnhance existing investment chart pack by incorporating insightful indicators that can update stakeholders of key developments across various financial marketsPerform quantitative (e.g. backtests of investment strategies, monte carlo simulation) and qualitative analysis to support idea generation, portfolio construction and risk managementWork closely with colleagues in Middle Office and Operations to enhance trading processes, portfolio risk monitoring and performance attribution of multi-asset portfoliosPrepare presentation materials that effectively explains investment strategy and performance drivers to stakeholders

Requirements

Ideal candidate would have around 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-asset roleExcellent programming (e.g. Python) and quantitative skills (e.g. multi-asset modelling, time series analysis)Familiarity with Bloomberg is preferredWell versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)Team player with strong work ethicExcellent interpersonal, engagement and presentation skillsProactive with high level of motivation and able to adhere to tight deadlinesBachelor or higher degreeProfessional qualification such as CFA will be viewed favorably
