RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researching target industries, market and competitor informationInterviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagementWorking with management to build and maintain client relationshipsIdentifying and communicating potential engagements to managementReporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reportsPerforming valuation of private equity and venture capital investments in a variety of industries.Reviewing transaction agreements and capital structures to understand rights of different share classes.Performing business and intangible assets valuation engagements for fair value measurements and transactionsDeveloping financial models for transaction and valuation engagements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, with further experience and/or qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA from an accredited university, or additional professional accreditation such as CFAUp to 1 or 2 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial and statistical models including: DCF, comparable company and transaction, stock option, loss curves, and commodity contracts/forecastsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointNative Japanese language skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teams
