Our client is the Commercial Real Estate Finance group within the investment bank of a premier European-based global financial services institution located in New York City. Their real estate group is consistently ranked among the top 10 global and US real estate lenders, and they consistently look to grow their platform and expand into new products.

We are looking for an Analyst, Asset Management to join the Warehouse Team, specifically focusing on portfolio and asset management of a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of commercial real estate loans for private and public REITs, private equity and commercial real estate finance companies. In this role, you will be working directly with premier institutional clients and partnering with them on the financing of a wide array of commercial real estate transactions. The primary responsibility will be overseeing the portfolio of outstanding loans on the warehouse lines. The pool is predominantly transitional floating rate loans but there are also some stable fixed rate assets as well. Given our client's unique culture and structure, candidates will be exposed to the full breadth of commercial real estate finance activities.

Essential Job Functions: 

Partner with public and private REITs, private equity firms and commercial real estate finance companies in the acquisition, refinancing and development of commercial real estate across all asset types.Review monthly property level financial statements and rent rolls, as well as leasing, construction and servicer reports. Review client due diligence packages (including client investment memos, third-party reports, market information, sponsor financials, etc.)Construct Asset Management Reports (AMR’s) and Asset Summary Reports (ASRs), with cash flow models. Manage client relationships; duties include review and analysis of clients annual and quarterly financial statements (annual reports, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, etc.) to assess the financial strength and position of the clientCredit analysis and investigation of existing and new prospective real estate clients and counterparties

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a highly regarded, accredited institution.1-3 years of experience asset managing or underwriting commercial real estate loans.Excellent communication skills, willingness to work as part of a larger team.Detail oriented with very strong organizational skills.Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines.Strong financial modelling / Excel skills; Argus proficiency is preferred.Familiarity with market research sources such as RCA, CoStar, Reis, etc.Experience with complex loan structures and documentation.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$100,000.00 - $125,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
