Analyst – Institutional Sales - Chile
**About this role** The Chile Institutional Business Team is responsible for distributing and promoting BlackRock´s investment products and solutions to Chilean, Argentinean, and Uruguayan Institutional clients. Among Institutional clients, we consider Pension Funds, Insurance Companies and Corporate clients. The Team is seeking an Analyst to support the existing team members and to serve as Relationship Manager responsible for further developing and cultivating relationships with existing clients and prospects. The individual in this role will develop analysis, research and expertise on the entire range of investment solutions available. The role reports to Chile Head of Institutional and will be based in Santiago, Chile. **Key Responsibilities:** + Strengthening of relationships with Chile Institutional clients by generating investment insights, understanding clients’ needs, and leveraging on BlackRock’s platform to deliver suitable ideas and solutions. + Manage client relationships and drive engagement with Portfolio Managers and Head of Segments to identify and pursue new potential business and retain existing business. + Collaborate on strategic client targeting and design well-planned and engaging client meetings that uncover Client needs and interests. + Contribute to execute strategy to promote BlackRock´s full platform, including active funds, index funds, ETFs, Alternatives, Cash funds and dedicated mandates. + Work collaboratively with Chile Head of Institutional and partners across BlackRock to meet clients’ needs and objectives and develop innovative solutions that bring the best of BlackRock. + Represent BlackRock as an industry leader through regular participation in industry events and forums. + Contribute on key regulatory information and client reporting needs. **Skills/Qualifications:** To be successful in this role - Candidate should demonstrate many of these qualities. + 1-3 years of financial industry experience in similar roles. Experience in institutional relationship management, financial services, asset & wealth management industry highly preferred. + Possess a good understanding of the Chilean institutional industry: regulation and main players. + Knowledge in Mutual Funds, ETF’s and Alternative investments will be considered an advantage. + BA/BS in any field, preferably in Finance or Economics. Civil Engineer.
