In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in software development, project coordination and
HR/payroll technology solutions. Guided by industry experts, you will contribute to designing, developing,
and implementing cutting-edge applications while ensuring projects are delivered on time and exceed
expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the implementation and support of the company’s HR and Payroll application system.Participate in system design, writing and implementing efficient code.Conduct and facilitate UAT and augment test scenarios to successfully test solutions and implement and monitor operational processes and provide ongoing operationalsupport.Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.Collaborates with HR subject matter experts and HR business partners on system design decisions, user experience, complex issue resolution, and process desiQualificationsREQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science and/or equivalent. Work experience may be considered in lieu of education qualifications.Minimum 1-3 years of recent experience working in user requirement analysis and software development. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
PREFERRED:
Working knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures.Good communication skills – both written and verbal in English.
SKILLS
HCM technical and functional background with extensive hands-on experience in HRMS system support and Workday system configurations.Excellent analytic skills with demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the operation of HR functions and processes.Ability to troubleshoot an issue and provide expeditious end to end resolution for high-impact issues.Possess strong technical knowledge of NET-based framework with MVC architectures, and hands-on experience in programming languages such as ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET,HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, REST API and MS SQL database.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform - Power BI/Apps/Automate.Experience with React, SSRS, SSIS, Windows/Web Service, Oracle databases is preferred.Experience and knowledge of managing and configuring Workday system in recruiting, compensation, performance management and talent management related modules.Additional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
