The new hire will likely work on Primark, but will also get the chance to be involved with other client work across the DDT portfolio, which includes Aldi, Stellantis, Puig, Visa, Lego, L'Oréal and Ancestry. The Digital Data and Technology (DDT) department sits at the heart of data driven insights to power the delivery of brilliant human experiences alongside communications strategists and planners. We are a consultancy unit working directly with clients on their data strategies, technology ecosystem, measurement strategies, personalization and commerce solutions. We work with tech specialists, media buying practitioners, strategists, planners, and data scientists to help clients transform marketing through the application of data. **Responsibilities** + Performing exploratory analysis with business and media performance data to inform both future planning (e.g. audience selection) and day-to-day digital optimisations. You’ll be presenting your findings back to various stakeholders and building data visualisations to connect with stakeholders less savvy in data analysis. + Build strong, trusted relationships with Planning Teams, ensuring you’re their first port of call for data interpretation and visualisation questions + Actively develop yourself as an analyst and keep current with industry developments + Embody the Starcom idea of Brave Plays to step outside the scope of your day-to-day work and challenge the status quo when you spot opportunities for improvement (especially in regard to processes) + Continuously innovating and developing cross-team solutions to build proposals and drive agency revenue growth + Supporting DDT Directors with the development of measurement plans in support of data driven learning agendas + Contributing to case study and award writing to demonstrate insights derived + Delivering operational excellence by ensuring timely timesheet and mandatory training completion (amongst other tasks) **IN 6 MONTHS’, TIME…** We’d expect you to be working closely (and largely independently) with the Starcom Planning and Activation teams to answer their burning questions through bespoke analysis and measurement strategies. You’ll also be a pro at building interactive visualisations (dashboards) and be confident in using web analytics platforms like Google Analytics. After 6 months, you’ll have developed a good understanding of the different measurement solutions available across Publicis Media (as well as the wider industry) to help match challenges with the best possible solution. **Qualifications** In order to be successful in this role, you’ll have experience in/knowledge of: + In-depth experience analysing, interpreting and visualising data + Preferred background in media performance reporting/optimisations and the media tracking landscape + Understanding of data applications and propositions in the industry to develop solutions + Experience with industry measurement tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or ad servers In order to be successful in this role, you’ll: + Have a true passion for making a difference internally and for our client’s business + Be highly organised and have a high attention to detail + Have excellent relationship building, communication, and presentation skills + Be capable of explaining technical concepts to individuals with diverse levels of technical expertise + Be able to work independently in applying knowledge as well as seek guidance where needed + Be a self-starter with a curiosity to seek opportunities outside the margins of everyday work. + Be comfortable in a client-facing role + Be relentless in the pursuit of finding insights in the data to drive growth and business **Additional information** **Starcom** has fantastic benefits on offer to all of our employees.
