Job Description:
Support the departmental goal of sound asset management through strict monitoring and tracking of the company’s fixed assets. Support the departmental goal of providing accurate financial reports through timely recording of assigned journal entries and analysis thereof. Support company goals through completion of assigned tasks as per defined and agreed timeline.
Manage Fixed Assets capex request, transfer & retirement preparation and approval routing
Handle Fixed Assets Tagging, Physical Count
Handle PIP Monitoring - coordination with capex owners to confirm settlement of Projects in Progress (PIP)
Monitor Capex PRs vs approved capex budget
Coordinate Fixed Assets Intercompany billings
Perform Monthly Depreciation Run and Simulation
Prepare Fixed Assets reports required for corporate reporting, audit and disposal purposes
Act as Focal person for Fixed Assets-related queries and audit
File and archive Fixed Assets documents
Represent Finance in scrap activities (bidding, witnessing, disposal)
Initiate and manage assets monitoring and control projects for fixed assets and non-cap equipment
Assist in other Accounting tasks as may be assigned (e.g. Tax, GL, Inventory, Costing)
Requirements/Qualifications:
Working knowledge on Accounting Standards (PFRS, IFRS), PHIL and US GAAP Principles
Working knowledge on SOX and Internal Controls
Working knowledge in Phil Taxation
Good analytical skills
Ability to multi-task
Experience in using ERP system (SAP, BAAN, LN, etc.)
Excellent MSOffice (esp MSExcel) Skills
Can work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
Very willing to learn
