A thriving Lending Business is core to the success of American Express and achieving its growth aspirations. The International Proprietary Lending & Product Team’s vision is to be a growth engine that supports lending growth strategies across markets.
The Pricing & Analytics team is responsible for driving revenue growth and improved profitability across international markets, both from the existing portfolio and newly acquired customers. The team leads pricing and yield management strategies by deploying new capabilities, developing robust business analysis, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with business partners, and executing “test and learn” tactics across American Express international markets, while focusing on operational excellence and adherence to all local regulatory & internal pricing guidelines.
This role provides an opportunity to lead and inform lending growth and pricing strategies through analytics leveraging internal and external data.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Minimum Qualifications
Strong quantitative and analytics acumen to support decision-making rigor. Demonstrates ability to utilize financial, credit bureau and behavioural data to develop business insights shaping growth strategies and initiatives. Solid understanding of the economics of lending products and key levers of profitability. Proficiency in Hive, SAS, or SQL. Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
