BD - Research The incumbent associate is responsible to conduct market research studies and share business relevant insights to the delivery and commercialheads acrosss vertical and horizontals so as to facilitate strong presales and business development activity Associates will be expected to properly manage delivery pipeline by proactive interaction with the manager and clients to avoid ambiguity pertaining to TATs, and scope Discuss and seek clarifications (if any) with the team leads to understand the context and scope better and perform diligently Analyst PoVs or observations to be summarized for every deliverable as a standard delivery practice with no variance Regular communication with peers and team leads to bring in changes and enhancements to each type of research activity Thorough know-how and expertise on various databases; in particular Gartner, IDC, Factset, and Everest is mandatory Demonstrate frequent usage of databases for research engagements appropriately to add value to insights Sourcing right information from right sources is mandatory Demonstrate considerable knowledge and recall of relevant examples and trends while working for a period of more than 2 quarters for a particular vertical Hands-on knowledge and subject matter expertise on Cognizant’s competitors, service lines, verticals, leadership updates Associates are expected to multi-task with ease. Ease of efficiently employing market research techniques to support requests from other verticals or horizontals will drive overall throughput Associates lending bandwidth for other requests is actually a measure of how efficiently they are able to manage their delivery pipeline Proactively pursue training modules and programs across available learning resources (Cognizant Academy and Udemy) to upskill/reskill
