Analyst-Business Development
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Analyst-Business Development in the wholesale distribution industry. Located in Camarillo, California, the position calls for a meticulous individual skilled in data analysis and business strategy. As an Analyst-Business Development, you will play a key role in driving opportunities for pipeline development and sales growth by utilizing market trends and data. Responsibilities: • Research and comprehend market updates and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities • Develop a deep understanding of the US Federal pharmaceutical market • Identify product and market opportunities for Business Development • Conduct in-depth product opportunity analyses and profitability analyses • Recommend pricing changes based on market conditions • Monitor market dynamics for our products and present recommendations for strategy implementation or changes to strategies that will drive sales growth • Liaise with cross-functional team members and participate in workgroups to improve processes and drive solutions to business challenges • Provide market assessments and recommendations to aid capacity planning • Provide ROI analysis on projects being evaluated for development and commercialization • Actively seek and maintain market intelligence regarding the competitive landscape, products, and pricing • Present well-constructed recommendations to team members and leadership within the Commercial group • Challenge current strategies and processes constructively to identify areas of improvement and recommend changes for continuous improvement • Develop and disseminate market information and competitive intelligence to drive critical business decisions Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Development or similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry. • Proficiency in CRM systems. • Knowledge of Budget Processes and Commission Functions. • Exceptional communication and analytical skills. • Ability to use Analytics tools and Financial Analytics. • Proficiency in using Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel. • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A). • Skilled in Data Visualization, Data Analytics, and Data Analysis. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development goals. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and detail orientation. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and market changes.
