The **Kidde** business is a part of the Fire and Security Products group at Carrier. We are dedicated to providing products and technology designed to protect people and property from the effects of fire and its related hazards. As a large manufacturer of fire safety products, **Kidde** meets the safety needs of homes and businesses by providing fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, strobes, and other products.
**About this role**
**Kidde** is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical **Analyst - CPFR** (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) to join our team and focus on our retail accounts, to be responsible for the supply and demand planning process, and for making improvements to systems and processes to enhance the performance of work. Works with the internal team to develop financial forecasts and conduct regular meetings with the allocated retail account(s).
This is a **hybrid role** (3 days in the office /2 days at home) in **Mebane, NC** with less than 10% traveling.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with retail partners to gather and analyze sales and inventory data.
+ Develop accurate demand forecasts and replenishment plans to maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Own and represent the complete 52-week Sales/Inventory forecast and goals.
+ Coordinate with factories to share demand forecasts and ensure timely product availability.
+ Assist in the creation and maintenance of CPFR reports and dashboards to provide insights to internal teams and retail partners.
+ Conduct regular meetings with retail partners to review performance, discuss upcoming promotions, and address any issues.
+ Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and inventory management.
+ Provide support in the development and implementation of best practices for CPFR processes.
+ Prepare and present reports to internal senior management on the performance of retail
**Basic Qualifications**
+ BA/BS degree
+ 2+ years of experience in inventory, demand planning, and replenishment
+ 1+ years of proficiency with Excel
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Retail inventory, demand planning, and replenishment experience
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret qualitative data.
+ Critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
+ Understand and foresee implications of new information for current and future problem-solving.
+ English written and verbal communication skills.
+ Multi-task and handle competing priorities at once.
+ Self-starter as well as a major contributor to the team.
+ Inventory management principles/systems and data analytics.
+ Financial acumen.
+ Understand supply chain and merchandising processes, distribution, transportation, and supplier manufacturing principles.
+ Self-starter, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
