We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Business Banking team.
Principal Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for acquiring and managing quality new to bank customers. To ensure robust on boarding and management during the nascent stage, all NTB Business Banking customers will be nurtured by the RM who sourced the account.A key distinction between the existing and proposed customer acquisition strategy is the absence of any specific NTB customer acquisition target as the emphasis would be on achievement of underlying revenue targets through selective acquisition of quality customers.The main challenge would be to consistently acquire clients of the desired profile. The incumbent would need to upgrade his/her skill sets to achieve the above through training on products and self-development. The incumbent would also need to develop a sound knowledge of the corporate banking products, and continuously keep abreast with the competitor products and customer requirements.The incumbent should also ensure that other HSBC products are actively cross-sold to increase wallet share. Understanding the customer’s needs and delivering the desired solutions will be one of the big challenges for the job-holder.Some careers open more doors than others.

Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension Good understanding of the international business trade cycle and the business processes involved when importing and exporting and ability to apply structured bank solutions to match those needs. Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues. Ability to interact with all levels of business customers. Ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in HSBC overseas offices and local professional community. Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higherDesirable:
Balanced approach to risk management including techniques to mitigate risk. Strong knowledge of CMB’s international proposition / product capabilities. Broad knowledge of HSBC Group capabilities. Strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills in guiding and advising other RMs on winning new business and influencing peers and junior colleagues. Ability to effectively plan and organize, with tenacity to drive through results. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.Additional Information
Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.Useful Link
