Analyst CSMU Electrical Controls Engineer
We are seeking Level II Controls Engineers with 2-4 years of experience in Controls engineering or a related role in the material handling industry. The position is based in Monterrey, N.L., but requires up to 50% travel to customer locations in the USA. The role involves participating in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software, owning hardware and software design and application for subsystems or specific control areas for both large and small projects, and providing support in semi-complex material specification and schematic preparation.

Tasks and Qualifications:This is What You Will Do In This Role:Tests and bring systems into an operational state. Ability to work on individually and small/large teams from different regions.Document Job Activities through written reports.Flexibility to travel to multiple projects depending on projects schedules. Share knowledge and best practices with Engineering Peers. Maintain the administrative responsibilities along with site responsibilities in order.Knowledge of project budgets, schedules, and risks. Works to meet deadlines and deliverables, achieve budget, and manage risk with team leads.Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.Performs critical areas of standard professional level work that typically require processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly defined issues.Refers complex or unusual problems to others with more work experience.Performs site-audits at initiation of project to gather site information and confirm scope.Performs on-site commissioning activities independently or as part of a team.

What We Are Looking For:

BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.2-4 years of successful experience in related field.Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.Proficient in AutoCAD.Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
