Analyst-Data Position Summary

The Data Analyst serves as an Information Specialist who assists the Population Health teams with data preparation and analysis as it relates to our community health needs assessment, Chesapeake Regional information Systems for our Patients (CRISP), EPIC, and community data. This individual functions in a collaborative manner with all health system disciplines to improve outcomes for the community through reduction in total cost of care, improvement in quality of care and patient engagement. Responsibilities include monitoring, collection, analysis, security, and reporting of all pertinent data findings as determined by the departments/divisions. The Data Analyst identifies opportunities to improve patient outcomes, safety, and quality, and actively supports the organizational vision of providing exceptional care. 

 

Analyst-Data Position Requirements  

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business or data analytics required.

Experience

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Microsoft Excel experience is required (macros a plus). Experience with health information systems and health claims data is required. Experience working with CRISP Data system is preferred. Experience with organizational QA processes strongly preferred. Experience with Epic applications utilized within the facility strongly preferred. Experience within Population Health, total cost of care reduction strategies, and value based models is preferred.

 

Analyst-Data Schedule 

Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.

Analyst-Data Benefits 

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
