Job Description:

Serve as SME at the respective site for AF NTI operational processes and procedures

• Research and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from AF NTI customers

• Maintain routine contact and collaborate with sister AF NTI elements and other AF ISR partners to ensure effective chat channel operations and flow of information between elements

• Collaborate with supported AOC teams (e.g., Senior Intelligence Duty Officer (SIDO); Analysis, Correlation, and Fusion (ACF); and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) and AFTC to maintain situational awareness of the operational environment and evolving C/JFACC priorities

• Socialize dynamic C/JFACC operational priorities and/or production priorities with National Cryptologic Centers (NCC), HQ 16 AF production organizations, and theater ISR assets to enable access to near-real-time (NRT) relevant, tailored ISR information

• Socialize ACF team and/or AFTC analytical efforts with NCCs and HQ 16 AF intelligence production organizations and provide analytic input to ACF/Targeting products, including classification guidance and sanitization

• Participate in and provide input to meetings supporting the host site and AF NTI customer ISR planning

• Provide relevant national SIGINT context and background to ACF analysts as they integrate SIGINT into their products including SIGINT information for post-event assessment and reconstruction

• Support AOC teams in defining, researching, and refining Air and Space Component SIGINT RFIs and drafting new and revised information needs statements and emphasis requirements

• Review AF NTI operational processes and procedures for currency and accuracy and provide a Memorandum for Record (MFR) detailing the results to the local government AF NTI leadership monthly

• Update mission continuity materials as operational processes and procedures change or as new ones are developed and provide updates to the local government AF NTI leadership for review/approval and forward updates to AF NTI PMO COR for inclusion in the Mission Continuity Plan

• Review AF NTI training materials for currency and accuracy and provide an MFR detailing the results to the local government AF NTI leadership every quarter

• Update AF NTI training materials as operational processes and procedures change or new ones are developed and provide updates to the local government AF NTI leadership for review/approval and forward updates to AF NTI PMO COR for inclusion in the Master Training Plan

• Provide input to the local government AF NTI leadership for the respective site’s daily summary (NTISUM) report covering the day’s mission activity

• Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

• Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with national Intelligence Community (IC) to the needs of Air and Space Component organizations (e.g., Component Numbered Air Forces [CNAF], Air and Space Operations Centers [AOC] and Air Force Targeting Center [AFTC]) at the operational and tactical levels of war.

Prefer experience as a cryptologic/intelligence analyst, linguist or collector and expertise in at least five (5) of the following seven (7) subject areas:Joint and combined Air and Space Operations Centers processesAerospace operations planning and associated documents, like Air Tasking Orders (ATO) and Special Instructions (SPINS)National intelligence collection platforms and processesAirborne and other tactical intelligence collection platforms and processesCryptologic collection, dissemination, and retrieval systems, databases, and methodsSIGINT collection management processes and strategies and a familiarity with other intelligence disciplines’ collection management processes and strategiesUnited States Signals Intelligence Directives (USSID) and cryptologic policies and a familiarity with other AF and DoD Intelligence Directives and policiesClassification manuals/guidelines and Information Sanitization processes
