Asset Finance desk within GSFG primarily focuses on tax equity financing in the renewable and low carbon energy sector while the Advisory vertical.

GSFG is focused on advising clients on strategies to successfully meet their sustainability goals including Net Zero and Carbon Neutrality, and Social & Inclusive Development
Responsibilities*
Preparing financial models on tax equity and debt financings in renewable energy sectors such as Solar, Wind and other non-renewable low carbon sectors such as Natural Gas with specific focus on Project FinancePreparing deal related Memos such as Prioritization Memo, Endorsement Committee Memo, Screening Memo, Sponsorship Committee Memo and Credit Approval Memo for live deals at various stages of the debt and tax equity transactionsExecuting detailed and structured research in on potential opportunities and new topics in Sustainable FinanceResearch macro and sector emission profiles and decarbonization trends, analyze and update company decarbonization trendsCreate presentations, including sector tear sheets and peer benchmarkingPerform due diligence and research sustainability targets and decarbonization strategiesTrack and research ESG marketplace data and company filingsWorking on market updates documents which include latest happenings, new deals and trends for Sustainable Finance encompassing United Nations Sustainable Development GoalsCommunicate and interact with senior team membersRequirements
Education: CFA/MBA in FinanceExp Range: Candidates with 12 – 36 months of total relevant experience preferably in Project Finance with focus on RenewablesFoundational Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills, MS OfficeA strong interest in Global Financial MarketsInterest in the emerging ESG and Sustainability domainBasic Financial Modelling skills and Advanced Microsoft Office skillsAttention to detail and Formatting skillsDesired skills*
Professional work experience in Equity Modelling or Project Finance in Renewables SectorWork Timings:
11 AM – 8 PM (Flexibility for working in shifts as per business requirements is a prerequisite)
