Analyst, Global Controls

 

Your Day to Day:

Support the continuous evolution of the Global SOX compliance program through process improvement, standardization, and centralization of all components of internal controls over financial reporting. Assist with the development and execution of the Global Financial Controls annual plan through walkthroughs, documentation, and key controls testing. Assist with risk assessments performed for internal controls over financial reporting and operational risk management Document and evaluate financial and operational control activities Assist with all phases of controls testing including the test of design and operational effectiveness. Participate in onsite control assessments and process, compliance, or location audits if needed Document and communicate audit findings to management; provide support to process owners in deficiency evaluation and remediation efforts as needed. Partner closely with external auditors, co-sourcing partners, and relevant compliance functions to document and communicate process improvements based on control testing. Assist with various administrative tasks related to planning and reporting on status and conclusions of control assessments Perform administrative tasks in AuditBoard Assist with the quarterly stakeholder tasks that are administered through AuditBoard

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an Accredited College or University 0-3 Years of relevant experience (Sarbanes-Oxley or Internal Audit); experience in a global, publicly-traded company is a plus. Preferred: Seeking or currently possessing one of the following certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Adequate knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) Must be able and willing to travel (less than 10%), including internationally.
