Global Derivative Operations (GDO) supports four main Over the Counter (OTC) and Contract for Differences (CFD) derivatives services including NAV Support, Independent Valuations, Middle Office and Asset Verification. The individual will work within the GDO Team and have responsibility for the delivery of these services to a number of clients globally.
As an OTC Specialist within the Global Derivative Operations team, you will have a unique opportunity to work in a cross-asset environment with exposure to all types of OTC derivatives, from the most straightforward to the most complex. You will experience a dynamic and challenging environment, where you can develop your skills and knowledge in OTC derivatives.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the daily trading activities of clients, ensuring accurate execution and oversight. Review and resolve reconciliation breaks in positions, market prices, income, cash, financing, and valuation. Support client and broker queries related to daily trade activities, providing timely and accurate responses. Investigate and amend any issues related to OTC/CFD trades, ensuring proper delivery sign-off to fund accounting and clients. Provide reconciliation services for derivative products, specifically OTC, from the Boston location. Reconcile all relevant OTC/CFD deliveries accurately and efficiently against core controls.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor degree or prior work experience Strong technical skills including accounting principles and theories Knowledge of 40 ACTs Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting and Tax Operations Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organizations Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and counterparties Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working hoursPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
