The Graphic Designer (Analyst II) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for multimedia support for all of our product labeling.
This position is part of the DX Technical Publications Team located in Brea, Chaska, Miami, Co. Clare, Munich, and Bangalore and will be an on-site position. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.
You will be a part of the DX Technical Publications Team and report to the Technical Publications Manager responsible for Diagnostics system documentation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Create technical illustrations for use in instruction manualsTranslate complex technical concepts into concise visual graphicsWork with technical writers, graphic designers, and subject matter expertsReport to the Technical Publications team in the Diagnostics divisionWork independently and in a team settingMeet deadlines with minimal supervisionDetermine the root cause and recommend solutions to complex challengesThe essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in field with 0-2 years of experienceOr multiple years of relevant experienceProficient with Solidworks Composer CAD softwareProficient with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative SuiteSkilled in illustration design and art skillsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Convert Solidworks CAD files to Solidworks Composer files, and then to Illustrator filesCreate, edit, and layer vector images and callouts in IllustratorAdjust, mask, and layer bitmap images in PhotoshopThis job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
