Analyst - Information Management - Privacy Risk (Wealth Management)

Division Profile:

Wealth Management Risk is responsible for identifying, measuring, and managing the current and emerging risks of the WM division and, in coordination with WM's Business Control Units and Second Line Risk Management and Compliance, implementing control processes and procedures to mitigate risk consistent with WM's risk appetite and governance framework.

Position Summary:

Wealth Management (WM) Privacy Risk is responsible for driving privacy implementation strategies and governance for the WM business line. The team is looking for a professional to join the Privacy Risk Department and report to the Executive Director for Privacy Framework Change Management and be focused on supporting the WM legacy account disposition program. In addition, this role will support the Information Management Pillar, dedicated to managing WM data in accordance with data lifecycle management and retention policies. This role will include data analysis to assess scope and impact, execution management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources

- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable to support metrics and reporting

- Design scripts to extract large volumes of data to improve efficiency and availability

- Perform data analysis to prioritize purge patches and validated execution with reconciliation reports, and track remediation activities to completion

- Identify areas of improvement through assessment of reconciliation reports and set data quality objectives

- Establish strong working relationships with partners across business units and WM functions to support alignment of WM Strategic Initiatives

- Work with all functional disciplines impacted by projects to ensure end-to-end planning is comprehensive and results are aligned to the stated goals of the project

- Serve as a resource to execute data requirements and resolve data-related issues across the WM Privacy Risk team

- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics based on privacy rules management activities and corresponding communication with key stakeholders

- Succinctly communicate ideas, recommendations, articulate results to business and, influence decision making at the level of Senior Leadership

- Review, update, and maintain relevant privacy supervisory procedures by documenting requirements and process flows for enhancements to batch jobs, volume testing, and perform user acceptance testing

- Expertise in all MS Office tools, including Power Point, Excel, Project, and Visio

- Possess mastery in data analysis languages, including SQL and Python

- Bachelor's degree required


Preferred Skills:

- Financial Industry experience with Data Privacy Risk or Operations background and ability to apply privacy principles

- Relevant professional certifications such as CIPM, etc
