Analyst - Liquid Financing GNA

Join us as a " GNA Analyst " at Barclays. Investment Banking Analytics works in close partnership with our product and coverage businesses to design, develop and deliver valuable data and analytic content.  We are accountable for the continued development and evolution of the analytic capabilities to support the growing reliance on data and creating model driven outcomes. The successful candidate will be required to work directly with developers and business consumers to find the most meaningful ways of presenting complex combinations of the qualitative and quantitative data to drive commercial outcomes.

To be successful as a " GNA Analyst ", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

Engineering Graduate in Computer Science /IT, MBA preferredRequired knowledge on Database languages like SQL with an expert understanding of databases, Coding ability in programming Languages such as Python. Preferred Knowledge of BI tools like Qlikview, Tableau, Spotfire or Power BI.Comprehensive knowledge on Financing products like Securities Lending, Equity Swaps, Cash Prime Brokerage platform, Futures, IR swaps, CD Swaps  across business (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

Daily monitoring, review of margin and changes in risk and portfolio composition for GNA clients.Perform daily analysis on huge Margin movements in Clients portfolio by understanding the various methodologies /Strategies like Convert Arb, ADTV, GIM IR, GIM FX, FX, DRIMCs, Bond/CDS and give approval to GNA ops to issue the margin calls/ reports to clientsPerform risk & margin analysis by working with a range of stakeholders internally & externally

Create communication & presentation materials going through analysis, key requirements & findings for multiple levels of stakeholdersLiaise with technology teams in order to drive functional specifications and deliverySupport in preparing MIS required for management decision makingManaging daily deliverables and meeting all agreed SLAs.Ensure cross training and knowledge transfer within the team.Responsible for front to back management of the initiatives and projects ADHOC requests catering to above items.Ability to prioritize and multi task effectively.Take ownership and drive various on-going projects in the team

This role will be based out of Nirlon Knowledge Park (NKP, Goregaon) in Mumbai

Purpose of the role

To maintain the smooth and efficient operation of our trading desks, providing operational support and expertise to traders, sales professionals, and other key stakeholders, helping them maximize their productivity and minimize disruptions and handling administrative tasks, and providing market information and research. 

Accountabilities

Provision of immediate and efficient technical support to traders and sales professionals on the trading desks, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted trading activities.Coordination of trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transactions.Maintenance and updating of trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately.Reports, presentations, and documentation preparation to support sales and trading activities.Monitoring of market data and assist in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions.Operational tasks such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies.
