How will you make an impact in this role?
The Analyst - Marketing is a key colleague in the Products, Partnerships, Brand and Lending team. They play an important part in generating growth and profitability for the Canadian business. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our team driving innovation and the business forward through a variety of established card marketing and lending offers and solutions.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving revenue via execution of targeted marketing campaigns and other communications. This includes collaborating closely with critical partners such as credit risk, centers of excellence, finance, legal and compliance to analyze, execute and optimize our proprietary lending offerings to drive profitable customer behaviors.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a solid marketing and analytical background who is passionate about driving results and has a proven track record of building relationships and collaborating across teams to drive shared outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:
Drive Results through flawless execution – heightened focus on the bottom line
Evolve compelling communications and marketing campaigns to increase Cardmember profitability via marketing and lending treatments. Define business goals and deliver on roadmap to achieve profitability objectives. Work closely with central partners to launch new capabilities and offerings that meet and exceed goals.Analytics – interpret internal and external data to identify opportunities and recommend business strategy
Assess performance and campaign results to help inform future business strategy. Identify current and future consumer needs as well as understand competitor offerings and threats. Monitor and react to external influences (regulatory, technology, economic & consumer trends). Challenge the status quo and generate ideas for new or improved offerings.Project Management – champion an initiative and get it done
Work closely with product teams, legal, compliance and external agencies to deliver successful marketing campaigns. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute against a multi-year roadmap. Manage multiple ongoing priorities and demonstrate resilience in the face of obstacles. Ensure operational excellence through adequate planning and seamless execution. Manage a budget and ensure healthy return on investment.Relationship Management – build a common vision between business stakeholders to drive portfolio/business strategy
Influence stakeholders to gain initial stakeholder buy-in and lead stakeholders throughout issue resolution process. Gather support and ensure alignment during changes and adjustments to strategy.Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
Managing multiple complex projects and marketing campaigns simultaneously. Developing compelling customer communications. Organizing other people while meeting deadlines. Selecting, reviewing, analyzing diverse data sets related to business performance (e.g. financial performance, business process optimization). Building relationships, influencing and collaborating across functions. Must be a “power user” of Excel, Visio and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly analytical mindset and a history of leveraging data to make decisions, drive change and find continual improvement. Strong project management skills with a proven ability to take initiative, champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation. Detail-oriented and ability to execute with high degree of accuracy. A passion for innovation and staying on top of technological trends. Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.
