Your Impact: Efficiently handle inventory and lifecycle management of spare parts and critical assets, ensuring data accuracy and availability. Collaborate with team members and partners to forecast requirements and ensure timely delivery. Execute audits, maintain stock levels, and prepare performance reports to support continuous improvement initiatives, reducing downtime and enhancing asset reliability.
 As Part of Our Team You Will: Assess and Monitor inventory levels of spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance needs.Collaborate with maintenance and operations team members to forecast spare part requirements.Monitor and handle the lifecycle of critical assets, including procurement, use, and disposal.Execute regular audits of spare parts inventory to ensure data accuracy and availability.Assess spare part stock levels by evaluating usage trends and lead times.Liaise with partners to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials.Assess and update spare parts catalogs and material specifications for accuracy.Execute and maintain asset management systems for tracking equipment and materials.Prepare reports on asset performance, material usage, and spare part consumption.Assist continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase asset reliability.Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist:

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):

Degree or Diploma in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering field is highly desirable.


Experience:

Minimum of 3 to 4 years work experience in planning and maintenance systems in a large mining operation or similar heavy industrial site.


Additional Knowledge

Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling.Strong knowledge of the operation of the CMMS (SAP).General knowledge of performance measures and their interpretation. General knowledge of defect elimination methodologies and their interpretation.


Technical skills:

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to use maintenance planning tools (i.e. SAP).Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), CMMS/ERP and MS Project.Advanced information monitoring and management skills.Possess good planning and organizing skills.Possess good time management and task prioritization skills.
