Summary
The Analyst-Medicaid Supplemental Program is responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the Corporation through collecting and maintaining data; supporting and recommending business decisions using financial and cost data; interpreting healthcare data to promote forecasting and reporting
Responsibilities
+ Assists in compilation of data for governmental reporting, assimilation of and analyses of supporting data as well as quality control data
+ Participates in hospital accounting, analyses of Medicaid payors and related analytics, Medicare cost report preparation and DSH reporting
+ Completes assigned goals.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Education
Preferred: MBA
Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Preferred: Experience in healthcare finance, reimbursement, decision support or managed care
Minimum: Two to Five years experience in a healthcare role
Special Skills
Minimum: Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization.
Training
Preferred: MS Word expertise; MS Excel, including pivot tables and slicers.
Minimum: Expert level Excel, including using pivot table, and slicers.
