Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$51,000 - $121,000

The Analyst-MES supports, develops and/or deploys manufacturing execution systems and equipment to fulfill business needs. Provide in-depth support for new and existing manufacturing applications, systems and equipment relying on applicants' business area knowledge and computer skills. Solves existing system problems, analyzes information designs, programs and/or implements new systems or enhancements to existing systems in accordance with company standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities ​:

Applications and Equipment First and Second Tier Support.

Identify applications, systems and/or data problems. Analyzes this information and revises the applications logic and or/ procedures (if applicable) to solve existing data processing difficulties.

Coordinates problems resolution with vendors and /or Corporate or affiliate personnel for purchases, outsourced, and /or corporate or affiliate supported (global) applications.

Develop and maintain manufacturing software applications using programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and SQL

Work with business resources to identify root cause(s), trends and general issues. Work with corresponding personnel to produce detail analysis of situations, causes and solutions.

Deliver manufacturing systems engineering support, including installations & configurations for computer equipment.

Develop and test standards and procedures for computer equipment and software.

Performs user request for special support and/or extracts of data.

Designs, programs and/or implements new systems, reports, screens and/ or procedure. Documents and trains users on these new systems and/or changes.

Coordinates changes and/or enhancements with vendors and/or corporate or affiliate personnel for purchased, outsourced, and/or corporate or affiliate supported (global) applications. Train users on these changes and/or enhancements.

Serves, as a liaison between local and corporate systems groups, IT and Manufacturing groups.

Maintain documentation updated to reflect changes made to programs, equipment and/or system.

Facilitate application changes by delivering feedback from customers to the application development teams.

Communicates changes applied to programs, which may require updates to current System Operations Area procedures.

Ensure compliance with Computer Systems Validation policies, standards, procedures and/or practices.

Coordinates and/or supports the installation of systems and/or application patches, fixes and new versions with appropriate users, and IT personnel, if necessary. Leads the testing coordination for these patches, fixes or new versions.

Responsible for the life cycle management of manufacturing systems.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and SQL

Proficient in Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., Propack PMX and/or PharmaSuite)

3+ years of experience in computers and information technology

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Knowledge of applications such as SAP, PowerBI, Tulip Digital Execution System

Experience in pharma or GMP industry

Experience working with validated systems

Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in manufacturing systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong compliance mindset and sound judgment
