We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) Multinational Advisory team at Mercer. This role will be based in Porto or Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will deliver consulting services across the total rewards spectrum, including strategy, design, benchmarking, startup, implementation, and governance.
As we engage with Spanish and French-speaking countries, proficiency in Spanish and French will be highly valued.
As an Analyst / Project Manager you will play a vital role in supporting our global consultants in all facets of total rewards international consulting, specifically tailored for emerging and expanding multinational companies. Join us and be part of a team that makes a difference on a global scale!
We will count on you to:
Collaborate with experienced colleagues (Spanish, Portuguese, French) to contribute to the delivery of global services as outlined above.Proactively manage significant multi-country total rewards projects in coordination with Mercer, Marsh Benefits (MMB), and/or Marsh colleagues worldwide.Assist senior consultants in business development and proposal drafting.Exhibit strong project management skills to keep the team organized and on track with key deliverables.Support senior consultants in delivering project materials.Draft responses to client inquiries regarding international benefit issues and trends.Regularly liaise with colleagues across lines of business and geography to maximize value, managing a multi-service delivery model in various languages.Analyze and summarize benefits information and data using Excel and PowerPoint.Conduct proactive research to create client deliverables while engaging with clients and colleagues in a rapidly evolving environment, staying updated on trends such as country-specific legislative changes affecting benefits/reward provisions and the latest developments in inclusive benefits and innovative well-being programs.Request, gather, review, and upload client data, assisting in identifying market gaps, drafting recommendations, participant statements, and/or client listings.Support your client team with project management, client interactions, problem resolution, and supervision of analysts’ work.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, HR, legal, or a related field.At least 1 year of experience in total rewards and/or benefits-related work.Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Spanish and French proficiency will be highly valued.A keen attention to detail is essential.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues.Exceptional planning and organizational skills to prioritize and effectively manage a diverse range of ongoing tasks.Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients, and comfort in engaging with client contacts.What makes you stand out?
