Analyst Revenue Strategy
Our Client, a Software company, is looking for an Analyst Revenue Strategy for their Bellevue, WA/ Seattle, WA/ Chicago, IL / Indianapolis, IN /Atlanta, GA/ Hybrid location. Responsibilities: + Check Slack messages/emails, Attend NPI calls, Collaborate in Slack for NPI calls as needed, Get thorough with client Policy, Review SOX field values and approve for related NPIs etc. + Reporting to Senior Manager-Revenue Strategy, this role is titled as Analyst Revenue Strategy. The person responsible in this exciting role will work in dynamic, fast paced and non-traditional environment. + Lead New Product Initiative (NPI) for various products that client launch and represent revenue strategy team responsible for revenue recognition policies, external cloud conclusions, ASC606 policy compliance etc. + Assist in monthly SOX controls, assisting revenue accounting team in updating various reports related to their controls. + Comply with Revenue Recognition Policy of client while leading NPI meetings. + Guide business and other teams during NPI meetings on right revenue treatment, price treatment, billing model etc. + Update and approve SOX field values for products as part of NPI responsibilities. + Thoroughly understand the product and ability to explain to internal stakeholders, extended team within Revenue Management Team + Support product related enquiry raised by deal team or other revenue management team members from time to time and provide necessary document/decks to support response to the query. + Assist with special projects as needed. Requirements: + Please rank your preferred top skill sets: (For Example: tools, previous experience, technologies) ASC606 knowledge, Overall accounting knowledge, Time management, Being organized + Must have skills: ASC606 knowledge, ability to apply that knowledge for relevant NPIs and thorough with client revenue policy + Teachable skills: NPIs, internal Lead to Cash process + 5+ years of relevant work experience preferably in high tech industry + Good technical accounting skills with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + Good communication and analytical skills + Team player able to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment + Detail oriented, organized and time discipline is of utmost importance to be successful in this role. + Ability to navigate day work on own without having anyone to follow up. + Be responsible for your NPI, drive it end to end and seek support on time to ensure we are not blockers to product launch.
