**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Develop strong relationships with the Supplier’s Quality Leadership team.
+ Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and define improvement plan objectives.
+ Support source inspection at the suppliers (frequent traveling).
+ Plan and validate first article inspection.
+ Provide technical support and follow-up on quality deliverables.
+ Participate in investigations for supplier quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and containment plans.
+ Participate in different governance activities and lead Quality reviews with the suppliers.
+ Present reports and status of different projects.
+ Manage complex quality issues while maintaining strong relationships internally and with the supplier.
+ Synthesize complex situations in executive presentations.
+ Support management by taking the lead of the team when required. May supervise the work of other team members.
**How to thrive in this role?**
+ You possess a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.
+ You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player, and demonstrate initiative, leadership, and good communication and interpersonal skills..
+ You must be available to travel outside of Canada on short notice.
+ Experience with manufacturing and assembly of components with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
+ Advanced problem resolution and project management experience.
+ Knowledge of aviation regulations and related quality standards.
+ You have good oral and technical writing skills in English and French are required
