+ This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
+ Responsible for working with the business units, technology teams, and support teams to understand the requirements and design to create test scripts and test plans for American Airlines' payroll application.
**What you'll do**
+ Critically analyzes and evaluates requirements from multiple sources to create test scripts, process flows, traceability matrices, work estimates, test plans and test results
+ Conducts test case and test plan reviews and ensures requirements and test documentation is approved in accordance with audit standards
+ Develops and executes test scripts for new and existing functionality
+ Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved/escalated in a timely manner
+ Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects
+ Understands expectations that were set with client, recognizes when issues/events may affect delivery, and communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions
+ Follows through with commitments and fosters mutual trust with all working groups
+ Ensures project team is kept well informed of project changes with open communication
+ Effectively applies Company methodology and enforces project standards
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent training/experience
+ At least 3 years of work experience
+ Experience in testing (Functional unit testing, Integration testing, Regression testing)
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Experience in SAP PY, HANA platform
+ Experience with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple taks
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office software; specifically excel spreadsheets
+ Excellent verbal and writeen communication skills
+ Possesses a good undestanding of US payroll processing and related modules like taxes, garnishments, master data, and time & attendance integration
