Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Analyst - Cargo Revenue Management supports with data-centric decision making for air cargo transport. Through the use of analytics this position will lead pricing strategies and revenue management principles to better optimize capacity by driving efficiencies and maximizing revenue whilst minimizing costs. This position will act as a business partner working closely with regional sales and operation leaders in developing strategies behind pricing and inventory management in driving regional and divisional objectives.
Lead the region through forecast scenairo analysis and reporting in the development and execution of pricing and business strategies with sales and commercial leaders to ensure short, medium and long-term business objectives are metEstablish and review revenue forecasts through seasonal pricing modelling to support accurate flight revenue projections for future flight planningCollaborate with commercial stakeholders by promoting data usage in identifying pricing controls for 3rd party sales groups in the regionCoordinate with field analysts in other regions and at WHQ in setting network wide pricing approval processes to ensure speed to market is achievedMonitor competitor activity and market share developments actioning pricing iterations as required whilst identifying controls and product trade-up guidance across the regionSupports development of strategies to optimize cargo by reviewing metrics such as revenue, pricing, inventory levels, tonnage and yield ensuring that the planning, forecasting and reporting results fit the needs of the organizationCreate and maintain dynamic forecasting models to analyze inventory performance adjusting for networkSupport the rolling inventory management strategy to maximize revenue leveraging business intelligence and decision support systems to optimize cargo revenue and contribution opportunitiesCalibrate the Cargo Revenue Management system through process improvement measures, as well as appropriate Revenue Management system interfaces with United Cargo 360 systems Collaborates with Field Sales and Operations to facilitate communication of any type that may impact, negatively or positively, cargo revenue/contribution, including resolution of issuesThis role could be based in one of these locations: Amsterdam or London

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent air cargo experience3-5 years professional business experience; experience in working cross functionally, preferably with sales, finance and operations teams2-3 years of analytical reporting experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPointCommunication/interpersonal skillsPassion for data, analysis, and getting to the right answerAbility to collaborate and influence decision making Strong stakeholder management skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to present analytical data effectivelyMust be legally authorized to work in Netherlands for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English and Dutch or French (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionPreferred
