The Strategy Analyst shall assist National Team Lead, Project Manager, and stakeholders in strengthening data quality and review mechanisms across priority states to increase immunization coverage and reduce the number of zero dose children. They will also work towards building alliances, problem identification through root cause analysis, generating data-driven insights, capacity building, and performance monitoring at the National level. The Analyst will report to the Project Manager directly and will work with government stakeholders and partners across the immunization ecosystem and state teams to drive program deliverables. Within the program, they should have strong competencies in strategic planning and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities Build purposive insights using data analysis and data-triangulation of multiple data sources including MIS, UWIN, Behavioral and Social Determinants insights surveys (BeSD), Comprehensive Evaluation Surveys, etc. to identify interventions to increase immunization coverage and reduce the number of zero dose childrenConduct the root cause analysis for identification of opportunities and challenges using quantitative and qualitative data across national and state level to drive overall program strategySupport government stakeholders through data visualization, tools, dashboards and reports for detailed strategic planning and monitoring of new initiatives on system strengtheningCollaborate with program managers and primary stakeholders to develop customisable and sustainable interventions to improve immunization data quality and transform program review mechanismsCollaborate with program managers and primary stakeholders to conduct strategic & operational planning and evidence-based performance reviews regularly for course correctionCollaborate with the national capacity building team to capacitate the state/district teams on utility of data visualization, tools, dashboards, and reporting formatsSupport in conducting comprehensive monitoring & evaluation and socialize the same across state teamsCultivate and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the immunization ecosystem and immunization partners at the national levelDocument and present the progress of the program objectives during scheduled reviews with the Ministry and other key stakeholders Required Qualifications Relevant work experience of 3-4+ years in a management consulting or project management role either with Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, data science, statistics, operations research, economics, public health, public policy/administration, development studies, population sciences or allied areasExcellent data analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills and converting data to insights and evidence leading to decision-making factorsHighly driven with an entrepreneurial mind-set and the ability to work independentlyHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Tableau, Power BI, R programming, Stata, SPSS, Arc-GIS, Q-GIS, Google Data Studio, Databricks, etc. and/or other such data analytics tools/softwaresExcellent writing and verbal communication skills required, fluency in English & Hindi Preferred Qualifications Understanding of public health/immunization and government systemsExperience working in management consulting, investment banking, data analytics, technology, and client facing or similar fast paced, output- oriented environmentsExperience working in developing countries, and partnering with donors, branches of the government, NGOs or demonstrated experience in related areas.Jhpiego offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
