We are looking for a person to analyze the transportation and distribution systems, procedures, and methods to develop and utilize the most economically advantageous and efficient means of delivering raw material and finish goods for Donaldson LATAM facilities

Role Responsibilities:

Conducts distribution network studies to maximize the efficiency of operations and drive out costs while meeting or exceeding on time delivery performance standardsProcure transportation services, negotiate contracts/rates, and manage performance of transportation service providers. Conducts regular benchmarking studies to ensure competitive pricing based on market conditions.Coordinate operation for import, export and domestic shipments according to our clients needsTo provide mentorship to other team members to encourage the development of hard and soft skills, looking for the grown of the talent in the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent on International Trade, Logistics, Business or similar3+ years experience in similar positions or working for freight forwarders.Experience coordinating import, export & domestic operationsIntermediate level of Spanish & English communicationProblem solving skillsProactiveTeam work 

Preferred Qualifications:

Negotiation with suppliersMonitor KPI’s  and develop actions to achieve themCost reduction projects development and implementationExperience in hazmat materials transportation
