American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Analysts, Data Science to review existing data systems designs based on analyzed data to help streamline data reporting processes. Analyze customer data to develop data-driven business strategies. Update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methodologies. Develop competitive market strategies via analysis of related products, market, and share trends. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other business teams across the enterprise to implement strategic data science initiatives.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with analyzing customer data to identify trends and develop business strategies. Experience must include: 1 year of experience with each of the following: Analyzing complex financial datasets and perform data mining to identify commercial trends; Developing data-based strategic initiatives to enhance business performance; Presenting data-driven analyses to technical and non-technical teams; Creating and maintaining business intelligence systems, including MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Access databases; Data visualization tools, including MS Excel, Tableau, and Snowflake; and Agile methodologies, C++, ER-win, MySQL Server, Python, R, RBDMS, SAS, Scrum methodologies, and SQL. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.

Job Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $111,966.00 to $115,000.00 annually
