Analytical Solutions Business Development Manager

You will work closely with sales engineers to identify and close new analytical solutions or expand existing business opportunities within current and new accounts. You should have strong customer facing skills and will act as the subject matter expert in the analytical domain and be able to articulate our value proposition to the relevant customer counterparts.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

•    Understand the Analytical Solutions country business and involve the Key Accounts, OEMs and DSEs sales force.
•    Ensure analytical solutions are included in the account plans of all relevant target accounts in collaboration with the account managers.
•    Align priorities and focus areas with the sales leadership and establish a prioritized strategic plan by industry, to ensure we solve the right segments selectively.
•    Actively visit customers to promote Analytical solutions relevant for the targeted opportunity and effectively engage in the selling process.
•    Active participation and ownership for Analytical Solutions and ensure the sales channel has the vital tools and support to position the technology within the industry and market we serve.
•    Understand market dynamics and customer requirements: analyze market needs and trends, identify business opportunities, build business cases, participate in competitive intelligence etc.
•    Provide technical support to customers (internal and external) as the need arises and connect/match customers to experts based on their requirements. You need to demonstrate an efficient approach on customer needs and lead positive relationships within the business environment. 
•    Assist the field sales, project pursuit, industry and account management teams and make analysis of business trends, such as bookings, sales, backlog data, service levels, run rates.

    For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, management or other related fields.  Proven experience of operating within Automation and Process industry. Background in Sales and Engineering with strong skills in strategic management and leadership. Ability to travel to fulfil duties of the role. Proficiency in English. Digital literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications [Excel, Word and PowerPoint] 
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience of developing successful cross functional relationships internally within a matrix organization. Demonstrate understanding of business drivers behind process industry and plant automation and of decision process used in value creation.
