The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Architect to join our Data Services team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of data architecture solutions that drive business intelligence and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a motivated architect with a strong understanding of enterprise-level data management, from integration and transformation to advanced reporting and analytics. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization, including IT, business operations, and senior leadership.

As an Analytics Architect, you will shape the strategic direction of the company’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. You will take ownership of creating an optimized and efficient data environment by leveraging our core technology stack, which includes SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt.

In addition to designing and optimizing data solutions, you will lead the establishment and enforcement of best practices in data governance, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and change management. You will be a mentor to the analytics engineering team, guiding them in the implementation of robust data architectures and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement end-to-end data solutions using SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt.Define and maintain the data architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Optimize data models and storage solutions in Snowflake to ensure high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.Lead the development of robust, scalable data pipelines using dbt for data transformation and orchestration.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data requirements and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.Drive data governance efforts, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and enforcing best practices.Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes for the data services team.Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting adherence to architectural standards and fostering innovation in analytics solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring reliable and efficient data operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in data analytics, architecture, or engineering, with expertise in SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt.Extensive experience in designing and managing large-scale data architectures, optimizing performance and scalability.Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and process enforcement within enterprise data operations.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects with a focus on high-quality, scalable data solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
