What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Analytics & Client Data Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

Facilitate the delivery of business intelligence data insights utilizing a range of business intelligence utilities and analytics capabilities.Ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate operational oversight for operational teams, senior leadership, service buyers, audit activity and regulators.Utilize design skills to produce and maintain clear, articulate and business intelligence reporting.Track and govern proactive and reactive data validations for all Critical Data Elements across Conduct Risk, Wholesale Customer Data Domain and Identity Service Domain.Complete business data dictionary and data lineage work in support of data strategy for Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations.Support the implementation of Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations data strategy, as set forth by the Head of Client Data Utility.Ensure appropriate business data governance standards are upheld and ensure customer data standards are adopted and followed within business areas.Focus on strengthening the organization’s data management operations and expanding the use of data to inform and support Wholesale Client work Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations innovative work.Support the for the client hierarchies for Wholesale Clients; act as product owner for the hierarchy data and definition including data lineage and data quality.Lead and manage four (4) AVP level Business Insights and Analytics.May telecommute.

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. 

Accountabilities

Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
