About the Analytics Team in the Global Enterprise Tribe:
The team is part of the Global Enterprise Tribe, which powers our product offering to large enterprises with both integrated payments and restaurant and retail point-of-sale software designed for large chains. We power all the largest brands that use SumUp, including Gong Cha, Douglass, Rossmann, and DHL!
We are building our platform using the latest technology, and we want you to help us raise the bar and drive these changes.

About the role & what you’ll do:
As an Analytics Engineer, you will help to enable quicker and more reliable tribe-wide analytics. You will offer a blend of engineering and analyst skills and will allow us to better enable data-driven decisions to help us achieve our ambitious goals.
Champion self-service data analytics by partnering with business and product teams to improve our data literacy and decision-making Work closely with business functions to understand our data needs and design robust and scalable data models that serve internal reporting and ad-hoc analysis Ensure that the data products we build are of high quality by effectively collaborating with engineers and analysts within the team and other disciplines Support the team with product experimentation and deliver deep insights, helping the team iterate quickly and focus on creating an impact for our merchants Collaborate closely with the central data platform team to set the standard for data within the tribe
You’ll be great for this role if you have:
3+ years of full-time work experience in analytics engineering or a similar domain Strong expertise in modern data architecture and confidence in working with large datasets at scale. You are passionate about analytics, data modelling and ETLs Proficiency in both Python and SQL Excellent data modeling skills and a deep understanding of data warehouse concepts Experience with DBT and Airflow or similar tools for building analytical models First-hand experience with Snowflake or a similar data warehousing platform Experience with Tableau Online, Looker, or comparable visualization and business intelligence tools
