Analytics Lead

The Role

The Team: 

Talent Intelligence is part of the Talent Acquisition team and collaborates with leaders across Netflix on critical talent questions. Team members act as consultative partners, using internal and external labor market insights to inform decision-making, candidate engagement, and long-term workforce strategy across business units and regions. 

The Role:

As Analytics Lead, you will draw on your background in analytics and consultative problem solving to help the Talent organization anticipate market events, optimally engage talent, and efficiently go to market across geographies and verticals. You will oversee projects from inception to delivery, relying on your quantitative skills, experience managing senior stakeholders, and business acumen to identify the simplest and most effective approaches to a range of talent questions. While focused on expanding the team’s analytics capability, you will collaborate with teammates on major initiatives and ensure a high standard of analytical rigor across Talent Intelligence deliverables. In addition to developing and managing a set of core offerings, you will be encouraged to think creatively, experiment, and find novel solutions to existing and future challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply quantitative research methods and scalable analytics techniques to questions involving labor market movement, market viability, competitor talent strategies, and market events.

Develop and execute an analytics roadmap that addresses the Talent organization’s immediate and longer-term needs.

Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase efficiency through automation or quantitative analysis.

Act as subject matter expert on labor markets and associated research methodologies.

Engage with key stakeholders and build relationships to ensure alignment and delivery of cross-functional talent intelligence objectives.

Influence outcomes that support Netflix’s business objectives and Talent’s key priorities.

Maintain the highest standard of analytical rigor while understanding and effectively communicating the limitations of data and analytics in certain markets or verticals.

You have:

7+ years experience in a client-facing analytics role in HR, consulting, or finance.

Proficiency in querying and analyzing large datasets (e.g. SQL, R, Python)

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

Proven experience designing and implementing dashboards, scaled analyses, or automated solutions that succinctly answer complex or ambiguous business questions.

Ability to effectively communicate complex analyses to non-technical audiences.

Experience in stakeholder management, relationship building, and influencing senior audiences. 

Adaptability, tendency toward simple, creative solutions, and ability to effectively prioritize work in a demanding and changing environment.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $420,000.
