Role Summary and Impact

As an Analytics Manager, you won't just work with data; you'll be a key contributor within our Data & Tech team, directly supporting Planning, activation team and clients, helping to optimise analytics solutions for our diverse client portfolio. This role is about more than just numbers; it's about translating data into actionable insights that drive client success, fostering strong relationships with both our internal teams and our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and impact of our analytics deliverables, working collaboratively to implement best practices and support the growth of our capabilities.

You'll collaborate closely with our talented team of analysts, contributing your expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights that directly fuel client success and business growth. This isn't just a technical role; it's a journey that demands strong analytical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and effective client-facing skills. You'll be a key point of contact, helping to connect our internal stakeholders and clients with the power of analytics and supporting data-informed decisions across the business.

Having honed your craft in a similar environment, you'll bring deep knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, and other web technologies. You'll be the voice of analytics across the agency, championing our services, ensuring top-tier work, and scaling our success through best practices.

Responsibilities

Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

Actively participate as a core member of the Data & Tech team, contributing to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing environment. Be a recognised go-to person for analytics within the team, offering guidance, support, and expertise to colleagues. Take responsibility for managing your own workload while helping more junior team members prioritise and structure theirs, fostering both delivery and professional growth. Collaborate closely with colleagues to tackle challenges, share approaches, and collectively raise the standard of knowledge and skills across the team. Partner with other departments to ensure data is interpreted effectively and applied with confidence, keeping analytics central to wider business conversations.

Strategic client engagement & project delivery:

Forge strong, trusted relationships with clients through direct interaction, clear communication, and consistent delivery of value.

Act as the primary point of contact, leading day-to-day communication and ensuring clients feel supported and informed at every stage. Build and manage strong relationships by immersing yourself in the client’s business, developing a deep understanding of their priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Lead client calls with confidence, taking ownership of agendas, WIP documents, and project updates to keep momentum and alignment across all stakeholders. Consult directly with clients to implement and optimise their digital performance through their analytics platforms, ensuring solutions are both practical and forward-looking. Manage and deliver data-driven solutions that meet agreed objectives, while continuously seeking ways to exceed expectations. Keep clients up to date on platform changes, new features, or best practices, and deliver additional training sessions where they add value. Present complex findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and confident manner. Ensure the quality and accuracy of all deliverables, challenging both yourself and the team to provide actionable insights that drive measurable outcomes. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scope with discipline, ensuring smooth delivery, profitability, and long-term client satisfaction. Internal Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely alongside teams across the agency to support project delivery and showcase our expertise. Act as a visible champion of web analytics within the agency, actively promoting our capabilities in day-to-day interactions. Partner directly with colleagues to share insights, spark data-led hypotheses, and strengthen client analysis through ongoing collaboration. Be embedded in the rhythm of team discussions to gain a deep understanding of client challenges and opportunities, helping shape and evolve their analytics and data strategy. Keep colleagues informed of any platform changes or new features, and deliver additional training where it adds value.

 

Technical expertise & innovation

By working closely with clients and understanding their needs first-hand, you will help shape and advance their analytics strategy, ensuring that data is translated into lasting business impact.

Be proficient in tracking methods, analytics technologies, and the data sources most relevant to solving client challenges. Serve as a subject-matter expert in Web Analytics, actively engaging with the wider Choreograph team to share expertise and strengthen our collective capability. Identify opportunities for ongoing improvements in analytics setups and deliver scalable, future-ready solutions. Stay ahead of industry changes, evaluating and applying new methods to continuously improve the work we deliver for clients. Proactively propose and champion innovative technologies that support group-wide data strategies and goals. Create and manage dashboards to measure the performance of both web analytics and media data, ensuring insights are accessible, actionable, and aligned to client objectives.

Business Development & Commercial Contribution:

Support new business opportunities by providing analytical insights and contributing to proposals, working directly alongside senior team members to identify and pursue growth areas for clients. Educate and empower stakeholders with data-driven expertise by delivering training and sharing knowledge with both internal teams and external clients on the latest features and capabilities of Google Analytics and other analytics platforms. Build strong, trusted relationships by communicating complex concepts with clarity, managing expectations, and fostering a culture of data literacy. Collaborate closely with clients to help define analytics roadmaps that align with their business goals, ensuring they are equipped to make informed, data-driven decisions. Proactively engage with clients to understand their objectives, surface opportunities for growth, and identify ways analytics can generate fresh insights and enhance performance. Adhere to industry standards and best practices, supporting compliance with relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics Partner status).

Cross-functional collaboration:

Foster strong collaborative relationships with other departments to ensure seamless integration of analytics insights into broader digital strategies. Aid colleagues across the business in effective interpretation and application of data. Represent the web analytics team in broader agency initiatives and strategic discussions.

Core Analytics Tools: Advanced skills using Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, and other analytics platforms. Tag Management: Experience with Tag Management technologies (e.g., Google Tag Manager). Data Interpretation: Strong interpretation and problem-solving skills, with an enthusiasm for unlocking the power of insight and activation using a variety of tools. Numerical & Detail-Oriented: Excellent MS Excel, strong numerical ability, and attention to detail, consistently working thoroughly and accurately. Technical Desirables: JavaScript, Big Query SQL, Python knowledge. Industry Understanding (Desirable): In-depth understanding of digital marketing and ad operations.
