Wells Fargo is seeking a Analytics Manager, Consumer Lending Shared services Analytics
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in planning, coordinating, and executing data research projects or results oriented intelligence that supports line of business or companywide business objectivesIdentify and recommend strategies for developing and utilizing technical or analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict, improve, support, and measure business successInterpret and develop strategies that maximize profits or asset growth and minimize credit losses, operating losses and other risk exposuresEnsure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers to ensure effective consultation and recommendations based on data analysisProvide leadership to the department in the identification and development of innovative research concepts and designsWork with clients to define issues and information needs and translate them into specific data and technical requirements to support business initiatives and projectsManage allocation of people and financial resourcesMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:
M.A./M.Sc./ Any Masters College Degree or Higher in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis.Able to guide, mentor and provide technical assistance to the teamEnsures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.Persuasive written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentDetail oriented, results driven, and can navigate in a quickly changing and high demand environment while balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skillsKnowledge of Banking and financial in Consumer lending (Home, Auto, PVSI, Non-Lending, Small Business and Personal Lines), Deposit Product Group, Card Retails and Merchant Services, investment solution and commercial banking is preferable.Ability to act with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and managementAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentAbility to learn the business aspects quickly, multitask and prioritize between projects.Exhibits appropriate sense of urgency in managing responsibilitiesAbility to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlinesAvailable to flex schedule per based on business needDemonstrate strong negotiation, communication & presentation skillsDemonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity and trustworthinessDedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and good team playerBe proactive and get engaged in organizational initiatives
Job Expectations:
4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceAbility to guide and work with team members to deliver high quality work and value adds.Knowledge of analytical/data viz. tools & platforms such as SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau & Power BIStrong technical skillset developed from managing customer analytics, including a strong understanding of segmentation, predictive modeling, prospect identification and targeting, customer experience analyses, and how to structure test designs for products, campaigns, and programsStrong analytic and consultative skills to understand business needs and align those needs with analysts’ individual development goals and interests. Ability to deliver consistently against commitments that span analytics recruiting, delivery, etc.Strong communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights. Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent execution ability, detail-oriented, well-organized, committed, and results orientated.Post Graduate degree (MBA/M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent) in any quantitative subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computers or Economics.Prior analytics experience in financial services industry is good to have.
