CONSULTING ANALYST

The Analytics Services Principal Consultant is a client-facing role responsible for managing a portfolio of airline clients and maintaining relationships with executives up to the C-Level. This role focuses on delivering advanced analytics services, leveraging big data to generate actionable business insights and improve airline e-commerce performance. The consultant will work extensively with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to align strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a key contact for a portfolio of airline clients, engaging with executives up to the C-Level.Analyze and model client and market data using various analytical tools to drive business insights and strategic decision-making.Conduct consulting sessions to optimize airline e-commerce performance, covering media mix, marketing strategy, IBE efficiency, merchandising, upsell opportunities, and SEO/SEM tactics.Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.Collaborate with internal teams to address customer challenges and deliver comprehensive solutions.Leverage big data from the Amadeus Data Platform in Azure Databricks to conduct ad hoc analyses and support the development of industrialized services.Define and execute reports and analyses using internal analytics tools.Examine user behavior, conversion funnels, and booking flows to enhance digital experiences.Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve ROI.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports of customer KPIs, applying best practices in data visualization.Keep informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance consulting services.

About the Ideal Candidate

Consulting & Data Analysis:

Proven consulting skills with experience in extracting insights and driving business improvements.Experience in data analysis and modeling for business insights.Solid knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).Familiarity with SQL.Experience in the travel industry is beneficial.

Data Visualization:

Proven experience in building effective dashboards in Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.Ability to implement best practices in data visualization and reporting.

Big Data & Cloud Technologies:

Experience with Azure cloud technologies, particularly Azure Databricks and Databricks SQL is advantageous.Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Impala is beneficial.Understanding of Snowflake Data Cloud is beneficial.

Development (Bonus):

Hands-on experience in Scala (preferred), PySpark, or Java is advantageous.Familiarity with Bash scripting and Python is beneficial.

Qualifications:

University degree in computer science, business studies, or a related field, or relevant experience.
