Analytics Tech Product Owner
What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Analytics Tech Product Owner in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

Analyze business data processing problems and design modifications to implement and improve computer systems.Gather, document, and analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve automate existing systems and create business workflows.Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.Work with business stakeholders to define analytics strategy and vision aligning analytics initiatives, identifying key metrics and objectives.Cross Functional collaboration – collaborate with various teams involved in analytics initiatives bridging the gap between business and tech teams.Own Analytics Book of work/roadmap, priorities and execution focusing on organization goals.Serve on agile scrum team and participate in the creation of industry-leading applications for various mobile, web, and Java platforms.Recommend system controls and protocols within an Agile/Scrum methodology.Create, groom, and maintain project features and story backing in addition to any changes to those requirements.Use diagrams, tables, mock-ups, and other methods to ensure features and stories are presented without ambiguity when designing the solution.May telecommute.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. 

Accountabilities

Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
