Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive reliable and timely inspection of financial results, budget, and forecasts. As part of the ABB way Finance transformation journey, ABB will be moving to adopt and use Anaplan for driving the planning processes. Accordingly, we are looking for an experienced Anaplan Model Builder with solution architect capabilities to join our team. This is a global role reporting directly into the FTP program Plan to deliver process lead. This role requires an individual who can not only develop and maintain complex Anaplan models but also design and architect scalable solutions that align with our strategic business purpose. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, a deep interpretation of Anaplan's platform, and the ability to handle and guide the implementation of robust financial planning solutions.The work model for the role is:#LI- Hybrid, #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tHandling collection of business requirement and current-state process mapping exercises and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.•\tArticulate design and document for Anaplan models (process map, user guide, solution design document and technical design documents) and provide architectural oversight•\tTranslate business requirements in the form of excel models and/or user stories into efficient and scalable high-functioning Anaplan models. Successfully identifying various dimensions, lists and line items, thereby creating a user-friendly solution •\tCo-operate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Anaplan and other enterprise systems (BW4HANA, CFIN, SAP Analytics cloud, Snowflake, Informatica, etc.)•\tDevelop test cases and drive SIT & UAT on the technical and functional acceptance•\tDevelop and enforce best practices for Anaplan model design, including modularity, reusability, and performance optimization.•\tDrive data integration to manage data flows between Anaplan and other systems.•\tConduct workshops and training sessions to educate end-users and stakeholders on Anaplan functionality and best practices and help with driving change management initiatives for adoption

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.\t3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business or related fields, with experience of working with data bases and driving integration using ETL engines\t3+ years of modeling with Anaplan or experience with atleast 2 end-to-end Anaplan implementations. Certified Anaplan Level 2 model builder or above \tExperience with SAP Central Finance, BW4 HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud is an additional plus\tStrong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\tDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
