Position Summary:
The Analyst in Business Insights works as part of a team that drives cross-functional cooperation with our internal business development teams and manages multiple strategic and complex projects that require strong analytical skills.

The incumbent exhibits a strong passion for data-driven story telling related to the performance of consumer and retailer promotions, utilizing data across Inmar’s enterprise solutions that span social media, digital promotions (coupon and media), retail and brand promotion analytics, coupon settlement and more.

Primary Accountabilities: 

Analytical (50%)

Research new products / tools to incorporate within Inmar analytics suite

Bring recommendations to life visually and strategically within presentation format

Determine appropriate data to retrieve, exhibiting comfort working with and manipulating large data sets in spreadsheets and using business intelligence tools

Identify new Category / Seasonal opportunities for the Inmar sales teams based on research and market feedback

Operational (25%)

Successfully complete assigned projects from a queue of insight/analytical requests across Inmar enterprise

Develop knowledge of the emerging media, content marketing and consumer promotions space

Use Salesforce as a CRM tool including reporting and tracking of sales impact of efforts

Strategic (20%)

Contribute to strategy discussions with sales team partners.

Build insightful recommendations based on POS data, social search / listening, industry trends

Contribute to the development of sales presentations – developing compelling and relevant data visualizations, insights and recommendations to strengthen the Inmar solutions

Influence (5%)

Review assigned resources to curate relevant market trends, client needs and other insights that could inform the team's recommendations and deliverables.

Develop and maintain knowledge of Inmar marketing technology products and how they help brands in reaching their marketing goals

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree required in business, marketing, analytics or related discipline

0-2 years’ experience working in a professional environment, preferably in shopper or brand marketing, media agency, research/analytics or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position

Familiarity with the following software programs: 

Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft Excel

Google Drive

Google Slides

Salesforce

Tableau

Knowledge or previous experience with consumer promotions and/or social media/media, helpful
