Required Qualifications
Experience: Television news anchoring - 5-7 yearsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field or comparable television work experienceTechnical Skills: Experience in live shooting and editing newsSkills: Excellent on-air camera skills, ability to work under pressureAbilities: Leadership skills, capable of managing multiple priorities as well as a proactive problem-solver, lifting and carrying up to 30 poundsTravel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the communitySchedule: Work different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies and able to work weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications
Experience working in a 24-hour news channelWorking Conditions
