General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the Android Framework.Customize the framework to meet the specific requirements of XR devices.Collaborate with the algorithm team to integrate algorithms into Native services. Resolve performance and stability issues in the system.

Requirements:

Strong foundation in Java/C++ programming languages, familiarity with common data structures and algorithms, and knowledge of design patterns.Prior experience in developing with Qualcomm XR chips is preferred.Familiarity with the Android system framework, including deep knowledge of one or more of the following modules: AMS, WMS, SurfaceFlinger, View system architecture, or experience in other framework modules is advantageous.Experience in using or developing Android native services.Prior experience in Android system performance optimization and system stability is a plus.Strong team spirit and communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and English communication skills.
