Your Day-to-DayThis job posting is for a Android Software Engineer on our Engineering team. Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:
Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards. Design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards. Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables, identify strategic technical debt, and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations. Must-have Skills 4+ years of experience with Android native Mobile development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI. Solid professional experience with JetPack. Familiar with data structure, system design, design patterns, API designs, MVPor MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps. Full stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc is a plus. A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism, even better. Strong communication skills in English. Nice-to-have Skills BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
