Anesthesia Technician - PD
*Description* *Purpose: *Anesthesia Technicians support anesthesiologists, anesthesiologist assistants, nurses and other members of anesthesia care teams. Anesthesia technicians clean and sterilize all equipment as well as keeping records of equipment inspections. Population served based on scope of services in the department. *Education and Experience Requirements: * * High School Graduate or equivalent. * Minimum of one (1) year of current experience or within the last three years in a comparable role. * PREFER: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree. ** *Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:* * Knowledge and application of medical technology. ** *License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:* * Maintenance of current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for HealthCare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for HealthCare workers. Working Conditions: Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Some occupational risk Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort.
