Anesthesiologist – Operating Room Clinical Director – UPMC – Williamsport, PA – Career Growth

UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) Williamsport is recruiting an Operating Room (OR) Clinical Director who is committed to excellence in clinical care. The candidate must be board-certified in anesthesiology with the ability to obtain a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and have proven administrative ability in testing and managing surgical services. 

Opportunity Details:

Coordinate surgical and procedural services and manage the daily OR schedule for UPMC Williamsport hospital. Serve as a clinical liaison on the hospital’s Surgical Services Oversight Committee (SSOC). Assure optimal patient care through effective and efficient utilization of OR resources. Manage daily OR schedule to maximize utilization and access. Coordinate available resources for perioperative staging, the post-anesthesia care unit, and transport. Serve on the UPMC Williamsport medical staff and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine faculty.
